The focus story this week was Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?
We read the two different versions of the book and focused on colors and color words this week. 
The students love the color parade song and we had a color parade multiple times this week!
Wednesday we read Mouse Paint and then used Cool Whip and food coloring to learn about mixing colors to make new colors.
Sorting was still our skill for math and we learned about a Venn Diagram.
Sorting continued with Brown Bear Brown Bear and we used M & M’s to sort by color. The students used sorting mats and then colored in a bar graph of how many M & M’s of each color they had. 
This week we studied M in addition to the many other things!
If You Give a Moose a Muffin was a great story- and we made muffins after reading it!
We finished up the week by making Monster Munch for our Friday afternoon treat.
