The 100th Day of School is a very anticipated day in Kindergarten!
Throughout the day we read these 100 Day books.
The first activity we did is put 100 ice cubes in a bowl and each student estimated where he or she thought the water would be once all the ice was melted. This was a great lesson in how ice melts and turns into water.
During our morning meeting each student stood up and told us about their 100 Day fashions.

Later in the day the students practiced writing from 1-100
made a 100's day snack where they counted out 10 pieces of each of the 10 snack items
and used 100 foam shapes to make the number 100
The kids were a bit excited, but once they slowed down- they crashed 
and had to be woken up to examine the melted ice in the bowl.
